"Love at first sight.... It lasts a lifetime!"

Here are some of our Willys Overland Jeepster Club Membmers and their wonderful little cars!!

Don's Jeepster is a 1948 model, and he says, "I've owned this car since 1954, so it's a vital part of my 'Family'.  It was my primary transportation for many years and I drove it in Colorado and the western states.  I showed it in our local car show for several years....here we are at "The Oasis" in 2014.   Due to my age, I have slowed down recently and drive it rarely.   I enoy being a member of WOJC and anticipate the arrival of my copy of JeepsterNews each month!"

Colin & Lilian Peabody

Colin, WOJC Member #892 is shown with "Jewel the Jeepster", a real 'Prize Winner',  which is actually a 1948 but is titled as a '49 which is not unusual with Willys Vehicles.  He acquired the Jeepster in 1977 after trading a 1951 Willys Wagon with fellow club members Jim & Chris Sullivan WOJC #371.  The Peabodys did an amature restoration returning the car to it's original Luzon Red and installed a new interior but by 2003 they started an 18 mos. project to upgrade the car with a modern drivetrain, suspension, and brakes.    Colin serves as the "Tech Editor" for the club and enjoys answering Jeepster related questions, and has a vast knowledge of the subject, often contributing artles to the clubs award winning newsletter, "JeepsterNews" !    In addition to "Jewel" the Peabodys also own a restored 1960 Chevrolet Corvette, and a 1960 Willys DJ3A "Surrey" which they acquired in 2009 from far away Massachusetts!
